Inter IIT Chess Festival 2014

Top 3 people from Open IIT would be representing IIT Kgp Chess Team in Inter IIT Chess Festival (organized in parallel with 50th Inter IIT Sport Meet) at IIT Bombay.

Details:

APPENDIX 1
Tournament Details:
1.      Dates: 12th December 2014- 19th December 2014
Date of arrival: 11th December 2014

2.      Each IIT can send 3 players as a team (The team of 3 can comprise of both girls and boys. There are no restriction on the number of girls or boys in the team)

3.      Format – Round robin tournament

4.      Time Control - 90 minutes with a 30 second increment starting on move 1.

Accommodation and Travelling
Travelling
All the participating IITs are expected to bear the travelling expenses to and fro from their respective institutes.
Accommodation

Accommodation and food will be provided by IIT Bombay. Accommodation will either be provided inside the campus or in hotels nearby. A list of hotels is attached

The fees for participation are as follows:
